The photographs in this volume were all taken between July and November 2020 in New York City.
The essence of what keeps me living in the city is embodied in these pictures; the absurdity and surprises, yes...but more than anything I see the eternal irrepressible compulsion in my fellow New Yorkers to drive forward, to perform, to protest, to celebrate, to be strong, to be together. I am in community with all these people, many whom I will never speak to, and may never learn their names. But believe me, we are in a deep relationship, and I don't know what I would do without you.
